I am a dog mama to Ollie Lee. He’s almost 2 year old mini double doodle. He’s mini poodle mix with some golden retriever and lab retriever.

My husband is the one who wanted a dog. While I find pets cute, I cannot imagine the additional work required to take care of another living being in the house. I am already overwhelmed everyday working and taking care of kids.

Ollie comes to our family and he really changes my heart. He turns me into some crazy dog mama. He becomes my sidekick. After pandemic I work mostly from home and he stays by my side all day long. His life is simple. He just wants our attention, plays with us, eats, and stays with us. He cries when I leave and he is the happiest one welcoming me home. Looking at him just makes me smile and wants to hug him. He’s very emotionally attuned. When I cry Ollie licks my tears and he acts so silly so I will stop crying. He’s so happy when we take him out exploring or on trips. We also stay in the present and enjoy things slower. When he sniffs around, I can pause and appreciate the flowers or the leaves. He does silly things like a toddler would do and he will forever stay that way. Funny, cute, and such a loving boy. Seeing him happy whether from exploring, playing, or eating good food just make us happy. It amazes me that dogs and humans can bond this way, and how we can make each other happy. It’s so natural and beautiful. I’m so grateful for it.

I’m a mother not only to Ollie and also to my children. I find my fulfillment by taking care of my kids and Ollie. I love seeing them happy and healthy. Now my kids are older, I must slowly accept their independence. Ollie will always be my forever baby and will always be by my side.

I love creating things. At work I love designing and creating things technically. For my hobby I love arts. I enjoy painting, drawing, playing piano and reading. After Ollie has his own Instagram I love taking photos of him and creating videos about his life. It becomes sort of my grateful journal as I document little moments of our lives and share them.

I think humans are born primarily to love and be loved. My love for my family is what keep me going every day. At the same time, my heart is filled by the love they give me by companionship and sharing life together. Now Ollie is here, I find joy from loving him and feeling his love back for me.

1. Which VIVAIA shoes you’ll pick for a festival? Why?

I will choose something to wear with a dress with heels. I will probably wear Natasha pointed-toe bow kitten heels.

2. What factors do you consider the most when purchasing shoes and why?

When I purchase shoes, I want them to look good, easy to wear, and comfortable. As I get older, I do need a more practical, no hassle and supportive shoes for me to go around with the busy lifestyle.

3. What is your understanding of eco-fashion?

We all have to contribute something towards the earth and I would support the companies who consciously make efforts to be earth friendly!

4. What does a nice pair of shoes mean to you?

A nice pair of shoes make me happy each time I wear them. I love looking great and be comfortable!!

5. Which VIVAIA shoes you’ll pick for Thanksgiving? Why?

For Thanksgiving we will probably be home with family so I will wear flats. Fluffy Audrey or Margot with faux mink-knit. They are so comfortable to wear, look good, and warm.

6. Where have you been wearing VIVAIA? How was it? Any particular feelings from our shoes? What’s the biggest difference compared to other shoes?

These shoes are so cute! I have the shoes for the colder season and I just love how the design incorporates that factor into the existing shoes’ design. The lining is cushy and fuzzy, so they are comfy and warm! The boots also fit so well. The fabric is flexible so they are comfortable to wear and flatter my legs.
